Giving Back Is What We're All About.
We believe the right attitude is just as important as the right gear. Our goal is to provide an easy and accessible way for people to make a difference through the clothes they wear, by donating a percentage of our profits to social & environmental causes, spreading our message of joyful, lighthearted adventure, creating a community of change makers, and empowering people to explore the outdoors and rekindle their relationship with the earth. When you buy Move Free, you’re celebrating nature and agreeing to help protect and preserve the outdoor spaces we love for generations to come. More so, your support helps us share the love of movement with others, inspiring adventure for all.
Below are the organizations we are proud to give back to and support through our products and your purchases.
Conservation AllianceMove Free is a contributing member of the Conservation Alliance, whose mission is to engage businesses to fund and partner with organizations to protect wild places for their habitat and recreation. They make grants to the most effective conservation organizations in North America; groups working to protect the places outdoor companies and their customers love to play. Conservation Alliance members play a role determining where to invest the funds by nominating organizations for funding, and voting to determine which groups receive funding. Together we helped protect 73 million acres and 3,576 river miles, remove or halt 36 dams, purchase 18 climbing areas & designate five marine reserves.

Running Without The DevilWe have partnered with Running Without The Devil, and donate the proceeds of our Desert Cap / ROTWD Edition to their organization, which is a nonprofit out of Arizona focused on helping those suffering from addiction afford treatment and aftercare and encourages the use of running and fitness as part of recovery. RWOTD was founded by Move Free ambassador Henry Ward, who is a recovering alcoholic and addict. Their fundraising goes to a scholarship fund supporting Valley Hope of Tempe, where Henry received treatment in 2008. Some of the ways the money is used include treatment, aftercare, doctor's visits, transition funds after treatment, and the purchasing of items such as running shoes, bikes, and general fitness equipment and apparel.

Boston Bulldogs Running ClubOur Boston Bulldogs Hoodies, Caps, & Buffs support the Boston Bulldogs Running Club, a nonprofit club established to provide an anonymous and safe community of support for all those adversely affected by addiction (those in recovery, their families and friends, the clinical community and the community at large). The Club promotes an integrated approach to wellness and self leadership in recovery on a journey to discover the kind hearted warrior and true potential within each of us. With the motto of, "Through connection we heal and recover, through isolation we suffer," they are uniting people around the world and helping remove the stigma of addiction. Our founder, Patrick, has been deeply involved with the club from its creation, as a volunteer, coach, and director of their annual Run for Recovery 5K & Tribute, and having had many people close to him impacted by addiction, has witnessed the myriad of benefits provided by running and the community that comes with it.

Trail Animals Running ClubOur Trail Animals Running Club Hoodies, Shirts, Caps, Buffs & Stickers support the Trail Animals Running Club, a nonprofit running club rooted in the Boston area with thousands of members around the world. They aim to act as community stewards by providing equitable access to trail running and promoting positive trail running culture, and their event profits are donated to land conservations & trusts in support of their trail running passion. If you are part of the New England ultrarunning community, you are likely familiar with their beloved events. We are glad for the opportunity to design their gear and give back to various New England environmental and fitness organizations with each purchase.
